Snapchat: is an android/IOS app which you can take pictures and videos with text and send it to the people you want. When you take a picture you can add text to it by tapping on the middle of the screen and you can also draw with the doodle tool and you can also choose from 3 different filters by swiping to the left or the right other than the filters you can also choose to put in the time, the speed of whatever you took the picture or video of and the other one is the temperature. You can choose who to send it to but if you sent it to 'my story' everyone will be able to see it, you can also set how long till an image dissolves onto the next image. This app is free to download on app store or whatever your downloading it from, it has a huge market the style it uses are functional, photographic, inviting and it uses bright colors.
Facebook: Is an IOS/ Android app which lets you see what your friends in Facebook are up to, it let's you see their photos and videos, you get notified if they like or comment on any of your posts you can also play games and use your favorite apps on it. It is successful because it can let you see your loved ones through video call even though they're on the other side of the world. It is free to download on both IOS and android. It has a very big market because it's a well known social media app or site. The style it uses are Functional, Inviting, Neutral colors like the icon image above.
